College Basketball: who gets to 2000 wins first: UNC or UK?
Author: admin // Category: wiki collegeCurrent all time wins ranking
UK 1966 + 19 = 1,985
UNC 1,950 + 24 = 1,974
UNC will likely win 5+ post season tourney games than UK this season

I think UK will get to 2,000 first but be shortly passed by UNC after that. The first 15 games of the seasons are usually bunnies
Probably UNC…sorry KY fans but that Uni's basketball program has become eh, mediocre. As were UNC, once again one of the nations top teams.

Probably UNC…but will either:
1) win 38 straight NCAA tournament games?
2) win 88 straight games?
3) win 11 National championships?

Kentucky will get there first. I am a little bias as a Kentucky fan though. We have a 11 game lead and we play in an easier conference. Depends is Meeks and Patterson come back next season. If they come back we will get it, but if they leave it will be close.
EDIT- UCLA guy, Yes they will eventually win 11 national championships.

UNC - thier program is currently stronger, not only with this years line up, but their up and coming players are very good. This also helps when it comes to highly recruited high school players decisions on where they choose to play. They are going to go where they feel they have the best chance to win a National Title, right noe that would be UNC. Carolina Blue

Kentucky will get there first. We have too much of a lead. But we may not stay the winningest program if we don't get our butts in gear.
