It is possible for Obama to win the popular vote but lose the election because of our Electoral College system of electing our President. This has happened before in the 2000 Election of Bush vs Gore. Gore won the popular vote by more than a half a million votes, but he lost the Election.

OK people, the popular vote I'm talking about is not the superdelegate vote, it is the actual number of votes when the American people elect the President. And the Electoral College is not the same as Superdelegates, they are completely different people.
I'm not talking about the Obama vs Clinton Democratic Primary. I'm talking about the Presidential election this November between Obama and McCain.
Oh oh……here we go again…………….
yes , that's an interesting question…………I would imagine all hell breaking loose and calls, once again, to abolish this antique Electoral college system.
it is a relic of times past, when voting in rural areas was all but impossible, if not extremely difficult.
a single vote system should be just that…………
one vote per person——may the better candidate win.
I don't understand people who think if you do away with the Electoral college……..Utah won't get heard.
Sure they will………….their one vote per person, will count exactly the same as all the one votes per person in California, or Montana, or New York.
One vote means one vote.
a system where my democrat vote is transformed into a red state vote………..that's just BS.
I ,in no way supported this Iraq invasion…….I don't agree with that policy………and I don't care HOW many republicans live in my state………I want MY vote to count.
and I say………….kick that knucklehead out!!!!
